Vision Statement for "Learn through Travel" - to travel and learn simultaneously, accommodating the needs of children with autism, yet incorporating supports, interaction, and enjoyment among all family members participating in the experience. By documenting/journaling these travel segments, we could use these experiences to illustrate the learning topics, interactions, successes and challenges. We can associate the various travel segments with travel tips and educational supports for families traveling with children having ASD's (experiential learning). It can be formulated to also offer visual representations and recommendations for service providers as tips to better serve this population. This would be an educational (but entertaining) tool for both families and communities.
